Hi and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier this evening. I really enjoyed looking at your bridging rituals and rites of passage. My daughter begins a new (all girl) school next year, and here is a little excerpt from their rite of passage traditions I thought you might like. Best wishes :-). I just looked at that site. What a richly symbolic education! Wow! Thank you for sharing this with me. I will continue to enjoy reading more about their traditions.
I LOVE the whole concept of your blog and what you are doing re rites of passage for girls. I have a dear friend who has been v involved in Rites for Men here in England and really it’s partly down to him that I went to Ghost Ranch and rediscovered my desire to write poetry. I also stayed at Stillpoint (and wrote a poem there – it’s on my blog). Keep up the good work. So glad you found my blog, because now I’ve found yours!!
Wow! Thank you! I’m so glad we found each other, too. I’m very intrigued upon reading your message about the Rites for Men movement in England. Would love to learn and hear more about that. And the Ghost Ranch connection . . . poetry . . . how wonderful as well. Thanks for all of your encouragement. I do so love and am committed to this idea and so appreciate the excitement coming from your end of the world. Thanks!!
So good to be able to connect with you here, too. I’m looking forward to sharing this broader “rites of passage” with you. What a beautiful tribute to Maya Angelou!
Thank you, Cindy! You are such a wonderful source of encouragement and support. I will look forward to sharing this broader place of rites of passage with you, too! and children’s books . . .
You’re awesome! Ande I love you dearly!
Thank you!! I love you dearly right back!!
Thank you!!! I love you right back!
I love what you’re doing with this blog—but that’s no surprise—I’m following your every move right over your shoulder!
That’s great! We need to make a commercial for your new company called, “constant guide” an extrapersonal touch to blogging.
